Secret confession: I have always wanted to play Ariel on Broadway in New York and to this day still have all her solo’s memorized. BAM!

The last time I was here I was pregnant. That seems like ages ago. My son Braydon was born way before his due date and spent some time in the NICU where we prayed he would eat. He was losing weight and got down to five pounds even (do you even know how fragile that is?!). I am happy to announce to you that little five pound Braydon is now a healthy 20 pounder! He is 8 and a half months old and my heart could not love him more!
It’s crazy how life changes when you have a baby. My hubby and I used to be cool, staying out late, sharing milkshakes, laughing with friends, and now, well… we’re the young couple with the kid. It’s all about bottles, dirty diapers, sticky hands, slobbery kisses, and early, early mornings. I can honestly say I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Braydon has taught me about the Fathers love and sweet innocence. He brightens up my life. I am so in love with him.
Pictured above was from this morning as he experienced his first Christmas. Michael and I were talking about how we can’t wait to tell him all about Jesus birth! So many memories to make…

Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him.
